Available exclusively to our customers, RKE2 Government ships in a hardened, STIG-compliant configuration out of the box. The result is a platform that is ready for mission workloads without requiring teams to independently interpret, apply, and maintain hundreds of individual hardening settings.

Easy to Install & Operate

RKE2 Government provides default configuration settings that allow clusters to pass the RKE2 STIG requirements and CIS Kubernetes Benchmarks with minimal operator intervention.

Hardened Container Images

RKE2 Government utilizes hardened container images built to minimize exposure to known vulnerabilities, significantly reducing the overall CVE count across the entire distribution.

No Vendor Dependencies or Lock-In

RKE2 Government does not require dependency on the Docker container runtime and includes a supported containerd runtime. It is not locked into any specific operating system, tooling, or Kubernetes management platform – not even ours.
